World AIDS Day 2000

World AIDS Day began in 1988 as a day to focus attention on the HIV/AIDS epidemic throughout the world--across countries, organizations, and governments. Each year there is a theme for World AIDS Day. This year's theme is "Men Make A Difference."

Kaisernetwork.org coverage of World AIDS Day, December 1, includes several webcasts, a Kaiser Daily HIV/AIDS Special Report, and a compilation of HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention advertisements.
