The Kaiser Family Foundation releases a major national survey about the Internet experiences of teens and young adults. Special attention is paid to young people’s use of the Web for health information, concerns about confidentiality, interest in sensitive topics like sexual health and drug abuse, and opinions on Internet filters and online pornography.

Panelists include Vicky Rideout, vice president and director, Program for the Study of Entertainment Media and Health, Kaiser Family Foundation; Lee Rainie, director, Pew Internet and American Life Project; Gretchen Berland, assistant professor, Yale University; Esther Drill, co-founder and editor-in-chief, gURL.com; and Robert Johnson, director of adolescent and young adult medicine, New Jersey Medical School.
