“Crossing the Quality Chasm: Next Steps for Health Professions Education” 6/17/2002

The Institute of Medicine's Crossing the Quality Chasm report recommended that in order to make substantial improvements in health care quality, there needs to be changes in the way health professionals are prepared for practice, how they are deployed, and how they are held accountable. This two-day summit is designed to give participants an opportunity to discuss and help create strategies for the future of health professions education.
