Interview with Global Fund's Richard Feachem and Chrispus Kiyonga 10/15/2002

Kaisernetwork.org's Editor-in-Chief Larry Levitt interviews Executive Director Richard Feachem and Chairman of the Board Chrispus Kiyonga from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria.

Drs. Feachem and Kiyonga spoke from Geneva on October 12 following the Global Fund's recent board meeting. In this interview, they discuss a wide range of topics on the future of the Fund including: their assessment of the resources required to combat the HIV/AIDS epidemic, strategies for raising additional funds from donor countries and the private sector, the schedule for getting funds to projects already approved, and priorities for future work.
