Dennis Kucinich, a Democrat, has served as the Representative for the 10th Congressional District of Ohio since 1997. He is the chairman of the Domestic Policy Subcommittee of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. He also served as the mayor of Cleveland, Ohio between 1977 and 1979.

The Presidential Candidate Forums, organized by Families USA and the Federation of American Hospitals, are designed to elicit detailed discussion with Democratic and Republican presidential candidates about health reform.
