Serves as an advocate of Social Security and Medicare. Includes special sections on Medicare and prescription drugs.

AARP - Medicare
Provides basic information about Medicare and describes what is and isn't covered.

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
Formerly known as HCFA, this federal agency administers Medicare, Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP).

Families USA - Medicare
A non-profit dedicated to the achievement of high-quality, affordable health and long-term care for all Americans. Families USA offers a wide range of information and publications on Medicare.

Kaiser Family Foundation: Medicare
Conducts and supports research and analysis on current Medicare policy issues, monitors key trends, and produces fact sheets, resource books and reports to inform policy discussions.

Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC)
The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) is an independent federal body established by the Balanced Budget Act of 1997 (P.L. 105-33) to advise the U.S. Congress on issues affecting the Medicare program.

Medicare Rights Center (MRC)
A national, not-for-profit organization focusing on health insurance accessibility for older adults and people living with disabilities.

A project of the Century Foundation, which provides "essential" sources for the debate over prescription drug coverage in Medicare.

The Commonwealth Fund - Medicare Program
