Program fosters improvements in health insurance and health care by funding concept papers and bringing together small groups of experts to explore emerging trends, issues, and opportunities.

This Institute seeks to "to modernize progressive politics and government for the Information Age."

The Heritage Foundation
A think tank whose mission is to "formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense."

Center for Studying Health System Change - Insurance Coverage & Costs
HSC analyses focus on both private and public insurance coverage, the uninsured and the cost of health care. HSC research provides insight into a range of topics, including how health care costs are changing, why the nation's number of uninsured continues to rise and how employer-sponsored coverage is changing. This area also includes analyses of incremental public insurance expansions, both proposed and implemented.

State Coverage Initiatives
The State Coverage Initiatives (SCI) program is a national initiative of The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation that helps states improve the availability and affordability of health insurance through grants, technical assistance, workshops, and written products.

Covering the Uninsured
Official Web site for the Covering the Uninsured, a national advertising and education campaign to inform the public and national leaders on the importance of increasing the number of Americans with health insurance coverage.

The Commonwealth Fund
Emphasizes prevention and promotion of healthy behavior. The Fund's two national program areas are 1) improving health insurance coverage and access to care and 2) improving the quality of health care services.
