The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria
Aims to attract, manage and disburse additional resources through a public-private partnership that will make a sustainable and significant contribution to the reduction of infections, illness and death, thereby mitigating the impact caused by HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria in countries in need, and contributing to poverty reduction as part of the Millennium Development goals.

Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS)
Advocate for global action on HIV/AIDS. UNAIDS leads, strengthens and supports an expanded response aimed at preventing the transmission of HIV, providing care and support, reducing the vulnerability of individuals and communities to HIV/AIDS, and alleviating the impact of the epidemic.

Kaiser Family Foundation: HIV/AIDS Policy Program
The Foundation's work in HIV/AIDS policy seeks to provide the latest information, research, and analysis on the major domestic and global HIV/AIDS policy issues.

CEDPA: HIV/AIDS
CEDPA promotes integrated reproductive health approaches that include HIV/AIDS to address the needs of adolescents and women.
Centre for Development and Population Activities

The Global Coalition on Women and AIDS
This is a new initiative by UNAIDS - made up of activists, government representatives, community workers and celebrities, that seeks to stimulate concrete action on the ground to improve the daily lives of women and girls.

KNOW HIV/AIDS
Launched on January 6, 2003, the KNOW HIV/AIDS initiative runs public service messages across the full range of Viacom's TV, radio, and outdoor properties. The initiative also encompasses AIDS-related themes woven into Viacom-produced entertainment series, a free educational guide, and other resources. In the United States, the campaign is aimed at the public-at-large as well as those groups that are most at-risk for the disease, including youth, people of color, women, and men who have sex with men. Internationally, the campaign produces public service messages targeted to populations in countries where the disease is spreading the fastest.

UNIFEM: Gender and AIDS
In collaboration with UNAIDS, UNIFEM developed this comprehensive gender and HIV/AIDS web portal to provide up-to-date information on the gender dimensions of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
United Nations Development Fund for Women

International Community of Women Living With HIV/AIDS
International network run for and by HIV positive women which aims to reduce the isolation of women living with HIV/AIDS by exchanging information on health issues, self-help, human rights and setting up local support networks.

International Center for Research on Women (ICRW)
Aims to improve the lives of women in poverty, advance women's equality and human rights, and contribute to the broader economic and social well-being.

AIDS Alliance for Children, Youth and Families
Conducts policy research, education, and advocacy on a broad range of HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and research issues with a special focus on children, youth, women, and families who are living with, at risk for, or affected by HIV/AIDS.

The Body Page on Women and HIV/AIDS
Provides a compilation of resources on HIV and women, including personal accounts, opinion pieces, U.S. Demographic Reports, and information on specific topics such as women with HIV in prison and women with HIV in the developing world.

The Population Council
Conducts research on a range of reproductive health issues and works to improve the quality of family planning services.

Alliance for Microbicide Development
The Alliance serves as a source of information on microbicide development, convener of dialogue on key policy issues, educator about the public health potential of microbicides, and advocate for the resources needed to develop them.

IAVI - World AIDS Day 2004
IAVI's page features a report on gender issues in AIDS vaccine trials, along with other gender-related materials.
