Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS)
Advocate for global action on HIV/AIDS. UNAIDS leads, strengthens and supports an expanded response aimed at preventing the transmission of HIV, providing care and support, reducing the vulnerability of individuals and communities to HIV/AIDS, and alleviating the impact of the epidemic.

KNOW HIV/AIDS
Launched on January 6, 2003, the KNOW HIV/AIDS initiative runs public service messages across the full range of Viacom's TV, radio, and outdoor properties. The initiative also encompasses AIDS-related themes woven into Viacom-produced entertainment series, a free educational guide, and other resources. In the United States, the campaign is aimed at the public-at-large as well as those groups that are most at-risk for the disease, including youth, people of color, women, and men who have sex with men. Internationally, the campaign produces public service messages targeted to populations in countries where the disease is spreading the fastest.

Family Health International - YouthNet
A global program to improve reproductive health and prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS among people 10 to 24 years old.

YouthHIV
YouthHIV is a website created by and for HIV-positive youth and HIV peer educators. The purpose is to provide a safe and effective website offering sexual and mental health information, community support, opportunities for advocacy, resources and referrals, and online peer education.

Advocates for Youth - HIV/AIDS
Provides links to information on adolescent sexual health in developing nations, HIV prevalence rate of young people by country, and publications on HIV/STI prevention among youth.

MTV "Staying Alive" Program Page
Partnership between MTV International, the Kaiser Family Foundation, UNAIDS, and the World Bank to develop a series of documentaries to raise awareness of HIV among young people.

AIDS Alliance for Children, Youth and Families
Conducts policy research, education, and advocacy on a broad range of HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and research issues with a special focus on children, youth, women, and families who are living with, at risk for, or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Alan Guttmacher Institute
Supports the ability of men and women to obtain the information and services needed to "achieve their full human rights, safeguard their health and exercise their individual responsibilities with regard to sexual behavior, reproduction and family formation."

UNICEF - HIV/AIDS
In addition to brief synopses of UNICEF's activities, the site offers feature stories and other news, upcoming events, and links to other information on HIV/AIDS.

loveLife - South Africa's Program for Health and Development
The loveLife initiative is a bold and ambitious attempt to reduce HIV infection among South African adolescents by promoting sexual health and healthy futures for young people.

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria
Aims to attract, manage and disburse additional resources through a public-private partnership that will make a sustainable and significant contribution to the reduction of infections, illness and death, thereby mitigating the impact caused by HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria in countries in need, and contributing to poverty reduction as part of the Millennium Development goals.
