The purpose of this meeting is to raise the profile of the Global Fund as a cost-effective, results-based financing mechanism; to strengthen the public-private partnerships that underlie the promise of the Global Fund; and to further commitment to the Fund in the form of resources and innovation to sustain support. The resulting dialogue is meant to engage public and private leaders, both as existing and potential donors to the Global Fund and as its operational partners and grant recipients.
