This Capitol Hill briefing, sponsored by Rep. Henry J. Hyde (R-Ill.) in cooperation with The Hope for
African Children Initiative, (HACI), a partnership of six leading
humanitarian agencies, focuses on the youngest victims of the AIDS pandemic in Africa.
Topics include the crisis affecting AIDS orphans and effective
programs meeting their needs; the urgent need for congressional action to
ensure full funding for global AIDS programs; and the Global Fund board meeting June 4.
