A briefing on the results of the National Survey of Latinos: The Latino Electorate, a survey report released by the Pew Hispanic Center and the Kaiser Family Foundation, the report is an excerpt from a nationally representative telephone survey of 4,213 adults -- including 2,929 Hispanic adults -- that will be released in full in December 2002.
In addition, the Tomás Rivera Policy Institute presents a separate analysis of Latino voting patterns in Harris Co., Texas (Houston) and Los Angeles Co., California.
Roberto Suro, director, Pew Hispanic Center; Mollyann Brodie, Ph.D., vice president and director, Public Opinion and Media Research, Kaiser Family Foundation; and Rodolfo de la Garza, Ph.D., vice president of research, Tomás Rivera Policy Institute and Professor of Political Science, Columbia University, present the findings.
