The online journal, PLoS Medicine has posted an article on links between two major public health problems in sub-Saharan Africa; a lack of sufficient food and risky sexual practices which could lead to HIV transmission. The lead author of the study, Sheri Weiser, M.D., assistant adjunct professor of medicine at the University of California in San Francisco is interviewed by the Kaiser Family Foundation's Jackie Judd
