The Kaiser Family Foundation releases results from a new Kaiser/Harvard survey on the public’s priorities regarding health care for the upcoming 2008 presidential campaign and the agenda for the new Congress. The survey provides an in-depth look at the public’s views of key health policy issues, including controlling rising health care costs, expanding access to health coverage and the Medicare drug benefit.

This panel, sponsored by the Alliance for Health Reform and the Kaiser Family Foundation, provides a detailed look at the health care goals and agenda for the Bush Administration and the incoming Democratic Congress on issues such as Medicare (including the prescription drug benefit), Medicaid, small business sponsorship of coverage, reauthorization of the State Children’s Health Insurance Program and health care costs in general.
