PBS will soon broadcast a four part television series exploring a variety of innovative programs designed to make the health care system work more effectively for patients, providers and policy-makers. The series, "Remaking American Medicine" explores issues, ranging from medical errors to hospital-acquired infections to the diabetes epidemic, through the experiences of patients, doctors, nurses and administrators.    

Executive producer Frank Christopher and co-executive producer Matthew Eisen are interviewed by the Kaiser Family Foundation's Jackie Judd.
