This World AIDS Day event at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine features poetry, music, and other performances by celebrated artists from around the world, all of whom are committed to combating AIDS stigma and discrimination. The program highlights the theme of this year's World's AIDS Campaign: Women, Girls, HIV and AIDS.

Actors Gloria Reuben and Alan Cumming co-host the event. UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan serves as the evening's Guest of Honor in recognition of his solid personal commitment and the commitment of the UN family in the global fight against AIDS.
