The CSIS Task Force on HIV/AIDS hosts this meeting that examines how to sustain effective U.S. engagement on HIV/AIDS after the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) initial first five-year phase. Three challenges that are focused on include meeting rising financial demands, driven significantly by expanding treatment; addressing health workforce deficits; and expanding prevention efforts.
