Upcoming 'Ask the Experts' to Discuss Tax Subsidies and Health Insurance
On Thursday, March 20 at 12:30 p.m. ET, kaisernetwork.org's Ask the Experts will host a live webcast covering tax subsidies and health insurance. The panel will review the current system of employer-sponsored insurance tax preferences and address proposals to change that structure, including those advocated on the campaign trail. In addition, panelists will discuss how tax subsidies for non-group coverage might work. Larry Levitt, Kaiser vice president and editor in chief of kasiernetwork.org, will moderate the panel discussion with Katherine Baicker, professor of Health Economics, Harvard School of Public Health; Gary Claxton, vice president and director of Kaiser's Health Care Marketplace Project; Jason Furman, senior fellow and director, the Hamilton Project, the Brookings Institution; and Jack Meyer, principal, Health Management Associates.
Submit questions to the panelists before and during the show to ask@kaisernetwork.org.
