amfAR Satellite Session: "Stemming the Tide of HIV/AIDS in Asia and the Pacific"
The American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) announces a new initiative to help stem the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Asia. The initiative, known as Therapeutics Research, Education, and AIDS Training in Asia, or TREAT Asia, seeks to strengthen HIV/AIDS care, treatment, and management skills among health care professionals through educational programs developed by experts in the region.
