New Report on Global Impact of HIV/AIDS on Youth



A report released by the Kaiser Family Foundation at the conference finds that "HIV/AIDS has always been an epidemic of young people, but new projections indicate that if trends persist, the current impact on youth is only the tip of the iceberg...."

Speakers at a press conference include: Drew Altman, Ph.D., president and CEO, Kaiser Family Foundation; Helene Gayle, M.D., director of HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; David Harrison, M.B.Ch.B., M.Sc.(Med), M.P.P., CEO, loveLife; Nono Simelela, M.D., chief director, HIV/AIDS, South African Ministry of Health; and Young South Africans involved with the loveLife initiative.
